Quality Control

Soooo............

I headed to Rona (a hardware store), yesterday....to grab some organic topsoil/fertilizer for my tulip bed. On the way out, at the cash register, I spotted one of those Bug Zappers, that look like a small tennis racquet.


I'm thinking, my dogs, Diamond (street name, "Monkey") and Jasmine (street name, "Jazzy Ravioli"), freak out whenever we swat flies with a fly swatter or newspaper. (BTW, Jazzy, who's the first to run and hide, is a MOB dog......ie.....SHE WANTS A PIECE OF EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!!)

Anyway....I'm thinkin', maybe THIS bug zapper won't scare them.

Thinkin' OUT LOUD, I said to the cashier, "I don't know if my dogs are gonna' like this, or not?"

In shock, she blurted out, "YOU'RE NOT GONNA' USE THIS ON YOUR DOGS, ARE YA'..??!!!! As she gripped it in her hand and pulled back.

Other people in the line up, just gunned me down!!

I said....."Oh, NO.....What kind of a question is that?

She said, "Well, you know....."

I said...."I'm not cruel.....I love animals.....!!"

In fact, when my songs start selling on itunes.com, the SPCA (society of the prevention of cruelty to animals), is one of my first charities.

So I got the zapper home.....and on the packaging, in big letters, it says.....

"MADE IN CHINA THIS IS NOT A TOY!"

I'm thinkin', how ironic!

Just when I needed something lethal from CHINA to kill bugs.....

THIS IS NOT A TOY!!!

Only, kidding, China!

I'd love to see China, some day.
