YOU'VE ALL HEARD THE SONG, "PINK CADILLAC" by BRUCE....


Well, this is a true story about a PINK PICKUP TRUCK!


I've toured with bands all my life...and played in bars from coast to coast....

From Northern Ontario, to, all down the Eastern Seaboard, from Boston to Miami...

Some, were really classy joints, where we wore tuxedos.....
Some, on the other end of the spectrum, where...um...well...what we, musicians call, "BUCKETS OF BLOOD"!

This story is about one such place.....

We were Rockin' up the stage one Saturday Night...in this little ol' Redneck Bar down South.....

We were havin' fun....!!!
And the Chicks were jammin' the dance floor....

It became obvious quite early on, that a few of the 'patrons' didn't really appreciate our kind of music...
Hmmm....
The Boys at the bar weren't too happy about seeing their girls shakin' their stuff on the dance
floor, neither...I suppose.... !!!

So........
Around midnight, we decided to take a break...and went outside to have a smoke and get some
air.....
That's when I saw it......!!

MY BLACK PICKUP WAS SPLATTERED AND SMEARED WITH PINK PAINT!!!!

I freaked out!

One of the girls said, "Oh, it was a couple of dudes at the end of the bar that did that!"

I stomped back into the bar, livid!!..... After all, that Silverado was my baby!

Marchin' towards the bar I blurted out,
"WHO'S THE A..HOLE THAT PAINTED MY TRUCK, YOU M..... F.....r?

That's when, this big S.O.B. stood up, he must have been around 6 foot 6 and 250, and said,
"I DID, SO WHAT!...."

I paused for a second, as a flash of fear went through me and I said, in a pleasant, flowery, falsetto voice, "Gee Whiz, I really like that color, you silly goose!!"

He let down his guard for a split second and then I DUMMIED HIM WITH A JACKHAMMER PUNCH STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR....
'Caught him square under the chin, on the sweet spot.

He went down like a California Redwood!

TIMBERRRRR!!!

As they say....The bigger they are, the harder they fall!!

I remember thinking....I hope our next gig, we get an easier crowd....
But askin' don't mean gettin'!!!

Nope!!
Unh...Unh...!!


PS: Today I found two dimes on top of the piano, I've been finding them pretty steady all along
since I last spoke about dimes.

I'll post an update soon.
